PYRATES CONFRATERNITY CONTRIBUTES TO CHILD EDUCATION

The National Association of Seadogs, NAS, has recently embarked on series of humanitarian services in Edo State.

The Arabella Deck of the NAS embarked on the BACK TO SCHOOL deck project where the CAP'N DECK officers and other Seadogs trooped out with educational materials to encourage the pupils and students back to a new academic term.

In his remarks, the deck president, Ehikioya Akhidenor Uduebor urged the pupils and students to "remain steadfast in their studies so as to be relevant citizens of the country".


He went further to appeal to parents to ensure their children and wards are in school during school hours.

Responding to Press interview, the PRO of the Arabella deck, Comrade Lucky Ekpenakhena Tpl, MNIPDM said, "it is our joy to encourage the young ones to focus on their education and as well ensure they are happily in school during school hours.



"As for this BACK TO SCHOOL project, we are out to encourage the students with items needed for the term", he said.


Schools visited includes Oluku Primary School in Ovia North-East Local Government Area, Okhoro Primary School in Egor Local Government Area among others.

Items donated directly to the students ranges from  school bags to school shoes and other educational materials.


The students, pupils and staff appreciated the association for their kind gestures.
