The Nigeria Police, Edo State Command and the Osarenren family of Edo State have recently declared one Mr Osarenren Osasu missing.
Mr Osarenren Osasu was last seen on 25th day of March 2021 at Okpagha axis of the Eyaen Community in Benin City after he was allegedly threatened on 24th of March, 2021 by unknown gunmen who killed his 17 year old younger brother, Osarenren Emmanuel.
Mr Osarenren Emmanuel was killed on 24th day of March, 2021 at Okpagha junction in Eyaen Community in Benin City by unknown gunmen who threatened to return for the life of Mr Osarenren Osasu.
Upon hearing about the threat, the family of Osarenren immediately reported the case to the Nigeria Police. But acting on fears, Mr Osarenren Osasu left the house that night, returned the next day and removed his few items before leaving for an unknown destination.

Despite his sudden disappearance from the family house, unknown faces have stormed the family house twice, heavily armed and in search of my Osarenren Osasu.
According to the matriarch of the Osarenren family, "we don't know what our children have done. Those people who killed Emmanuel are still coming to look for Osasu. They have come here twice to look for him".

Another member of the family who pleaded anonymity said, "we have done everything humanly possible to unravel why Emmanuel was killed, but to no avail. The Police are working on getting the killers of Emmanuel. Despite the Police trying their best to investigate the reported issue, the same unknown gunmen have returned two different times to look for Osasu. As we speak now, Osasu has run away and we don't even have an idea of where he is. His phone has been switched off and every means of reaching him has been unfruitful."
The said Osarenren Osasu who was 21 years old as at the time this incident occurred was described as a quiet, easy going and a promising young man
