As the year 2023 winds continually to its end, year end parties and celebrations have been observed in some quarters. It's what the season calls for.

In lieu of the above, the Business and Pleasures group has marked the end of year ceremony with lots of activities which were spread across the three days event.

Addressing newsmen recently, the convener of the platform, Douglas Ogbankwa Esq said, "businesses are mostly discussed and achieved in the table of pleasures. We need to do business with ourselves.

"We have artisans, professionals, marketers, policy makers and all of that in our group. So, let's encourage membership by patronizing ourselves when the need arises.

"I welcome everyone of you to the 2023 end of year party especially at this period of economic harshness", he said.

The group visited major areas of Benin City and climaxed the tour with a visit to the elderly peoples home.

Speaking during the visit to the elderly peoples home at St Paul's Catholic Church in Benin City, Lady Osabuohien Blessing Aguebor informed the senior citizens that the Business and Pleasures group is a collection of workable minds within Nigeria and the diaspora.

She said, "we are here to celebrate the season with you and we are glad to meet you all in good health.

"Business and Pleasures is a group of persons who are drawn from around the world and have deemed it fit to send their love to you. We shall visit you all again and again", she added.

Items suitable for the elders were presented as smiles were seen hovering around the faces of the elders. The elders used the privilege to pray and bless the members of the group.

The highlight of the event was training of members on digital marketing, real estate and cash offered to members for start-up.
