Comrade Curtis Eghosa Ugbo

Another major stakeholder of the Labour Party, LP, Comrade Elder Curtis Eghosa Ugbo has recently called out the National Chairman of the LP and the Chairman of the Edo chapter of the party.

In a release to the National and state chairmen, Comrade Ugbo begins with a surprise that bears his thought towards his LP.

According to Comrade Ugbo, "Edo State 2024. Nomination/Expression of Interest Form N30m? Labour Party, LP, is supposed to be Masses Party.

Julius Abure and Kelly Ogbaloi (National and State Chairmen respectively) are criminal minded and illegal. What is now the difference between Julius Abure and Kelly Ogbaloi with the political criminals in APC and PDP?

"I challenge Julius Abure and Kelly Ogbaloi to display and show forth the Labour Party bank account they want to use to collect the so called purported N30 million from the Governorship Aspirants of the party. Because it is a known fact that they have been using their individual bank accounts to collect such funds for years now and the reason and the reason they cannot give account of the donations they received from Nigerians home and abroad during the 2023 General Elections and I am calling on the EFCC to have them investigated.

"Julius Abure, Kelly Ogbaloi and their co travellers are confirmed Political Fraudsters," he accused.

He used the privilege to call on Julius Abure and Kelly Ogbaloi to stop parading themselves as the National and state chairmen of the Labour Party respectively, considering the litigation at the Federal High Court.

It will be recalled that a Local Government Election candidate for the  Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area under the LP, Hon Dr Mashido Eghaghe recently called on the National Working Committee of the party to review and reduce drastically the amount pegged on the governorship form for aspirants in the party in order to encourage working class members of the party purchase the nomination form.
