Amidst the cult clash ravaging Benin City and Auchi, three suspected cultists have been nabbed in Ekpoma over the weekend at a club house.
Acting on privileged information, the Nigeria Police swiftly stormed the club house (name withheld) about 12:30am on Friday and three young men were arrested immediately.
Those said to be arrested were Joseph Raham, Steven Osamua and Divine Okoata, all male.
The suspects have confessed to the police about their involvement in secret cults activities.
Items recovered from the suspects were one locally made pistol and one live cartridge.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Chidi Nwanbuzor of the Edo State Command said, thorough investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be prosecuted according to the law.
