Prince Fawaz to lead Edo State Youth 2nd Assembly

The Edo Youth Assembly (EYA) has recently inaugurated her second Parliament which was held at the Edo State House of Assembly hallow chamber in Benin City.


The inauguration saw 24 youths drawn from across the 24 constituencies of the Edo State where Rt Hon Fawaz Muhammad emerged the Speaker. 




Speaking, Rt Hon Muhammad expressed his commitment to ensuring that the interests of the youths are adequately represented. He emphasized the importance of inclusivity and stated, “Together, we have the opportunity to shape the future of Edo State by ensuring that the voices of our youths are not only heard but are instrumental in driving meaningful progress.”



He further expressed that, “As we embark on this journey, I pledge to serve with integrity, transparency, and dedication. I will prioritize the interests of our youths, advocating for policies that promote education, employment and empowerment.”



Members of the 2nd Assembly of the Edo State Youth Parliament are Hon Akerele Favour OfujeH and Hon Apata Bunmi from Akoko-Edo, Hon Alebu Iyenoma Winifred representing Egor, Hon. Ogbidi Peace Ofure (Rhema) representing Esan Central, Hon. Eliamianga Osaehumen Promise and Hon. Aichienede Akhabue Goodluck representing Esan North-East and Hon. Isibor Gertrude Osagie representing Esan South-East, Hon. Ilegbodu Destiny representing Esan West.





Other members of the Parliament are Hon. Abu Emmanuel representing Etsako Central, Hon. Emmanuella Odufa Masagbor representing Etsako East, Hon. Nefisat Vanessa Akhilome representing Etsako West 1, Hon. Christabel Okoudo representing Igueben, Hon. Usiobaifo Osarodion Victory representing Ikpoba-Okha, Hon. Esosa Uyiekpen Okhiria and Hon. Ohangbon Lisa Ebuwa representing Oredo, Hon. Ikponmwosa Ernest Ehisemen and Hon. Eiloghosa Osadolor representing Orhionmwon, Hon. Prince Osahon Destiny Eseosa and Hon. Ibizugbe Osaivbie representing Ovia North-East, Hon. Akin-Ola Emmanuel Eloghosa representing Ovia South-West, Hon. Uanzekin Destiny to represent Ōwan East, Hon. Okoh-Aigbdion Ebaide Bridget to represent Ōwan West and Hon. Enagbonma Precious Osaretin representing Uhunmwode constituency while the Speaker Rt Hon Fawaz Muhammed represents Etsako West 2.



Addressing newsmen, Hon. Prince Osahon Destiny Eseosa, representing Ovia North East constituency 1, congratulated all newly inaugurated members of the 2nd Assembly. He thanked the Edo State Governor and the Commissioner for Youth for providing the youth in Edo State the opportunity to learn and grow in the political space.
