Adun congratulates Edo Governor elect, calls for open door policy

A popular Benin Chief and a business guru, John Olamide Adun, has recently congratulated the Edo State governor-elect, Sen Monday Okpebholo.


Speaking with Legend Reporters in Benin, Chief Adun who is popularly referred to as Bob Izua said Sen Okpebholo's victory is a sign of better things to come to Edo State.


According to Chief Adun who is the Ayobahan of Benin kingdom, "I want to congratulate Sen Monday Okpebholo on his victory at the just concluded Edo Governorship election. His victory is a sign of relief to Edo people who are now free from the grip of a dictator.


"I have known Sen Okpebholo for sometime now. He is a man who is focused, upright and honest. So I know Edo will smile again.


"I also want to advise him to operate an open door policy so that people can freely access his administration", he said.


The Ayobahan of Benin kingdom used the privilege to thank the Benin monarch, the media and the entire Edo people both at home and in the diaspora.


Sen Monday Okpebholo is the Edo State governor elect and was elected into the Senate to represent the Edo Central constituency on the 25th day of February, 2023.
