The leadership and concerned people of the Oke-Oroma Community in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State has told the members of the public not to give an attention to the multitude of alleged falsehoods making around that the Oke-Oroma Community will be under attack soon again.
The community leaders described such thought as the work of mischief makers who are sad about the unintimidated security of the Oke-Oroma.
In a voice record being circulated that the Inspector-General of Police has given an order that the team of policemen currently watching over the Oke-Oroma Community be withdrawn, is not true, but instead, more policemen are drafted to beef up the security strength of the community.
"Having failed to secure his visa to escape from being arrested as a result of murder and arson charges against him, he has hooked up with his core deceivers who will not help him", this was the early narrative of an elder who described the Amagba warlord as the brain behind the voice note.
The elders further reiterated that "lies upon lies against the Oke-Oroma Community", will deter the people of Oke-Oroma Community from developing their land.
"The Amagba warlord has hooked up with some officials of the outgoing government of Edo State, including the Chief satanic officer of the state to resort to lies upon lies and cheap blackmail as a propaganda machinery which is their antecedents against Oke-Oroma nation with hope of reclaiming the Oke-Oroma territory back by all means.
"The Amagba warlord who was a terror to the Oke-Oroma people, brought in his mentor who is a top shot in one of the drowning political parties, to cause mayhem in Obagie N'Evbuosa, Obayantor, Ogbekpen, Oke-Oroma and two other nearby villages because of their vested interests in the massive land around those axis mentioned", the elders said.
"There is currently a bloodbath in the Upper Sokponba area where no fewer than 27 people have been killed. Instead of thinking about how to arrest the disturbing situation in the Upper Sokponba area, their plan is to make the State ungovernable for the incoming Edo State government.
"We are aware that this same desperado has filed a petition to SWAT headquarters in Abuja against the Obagie N'Evbuosa, using a woman in disguise to sign the petition with the sole aim of using the SWAT platform to reclaim the vast land which includes Oke-Oroma Community.
"We are using this means to inform the Court of Public Opinion and the IGP about these hard facts so that the lingering situation can be dealt with professionally", they said.
