The Ikpoba-Okha Local Government of Edo State Chairman, Dr Eric Osayande, has approved the construction of toilet facilities in Okha market in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.
The toilet facility stems from strong demand by traders in Okha market, made to the Council Chairman during his electioneering ahead the Edo local government election which held on Sept. 2nd.
With only three months in office, Dr Eric Osayande has reiterated his administration's determination to meet all campaign promises he made to the people of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area within the first one year in office.
Okha market is one of the three markets that has benefitted from the Osayande market money initiative, where fifty market women got monies directly to boost their trade. The other two markets are PZ and Ogheghe markets in Wards 6 and 9 respectively.
The market money continues as Oregbeni market, Ward 2, sets to get their own share of the Osayande market money soonest.
