Ojo Akin-Longe is a graduate of the University of Benin, the University of Leicester, and Nexford University. He has held diverse career and business roles, including over seventeen years as a Human Resources professional at Shell, and later as a consulting partner. He owns and manages businesses across multiple sectors, including printing and publishing, education, photography, and videography.
Between 2022 and 2024, he served in the Edo State Government—first as Special Assistant to the Governor on Strategy, Policy, Performance, and Change Management, and subsequently as Permanent Secretary in the State’s Ministry of Education.
Currently based in Benin City, Ojo oversees a number of ventures, including consulting services, co-working and training facility services, and a café. He also serves on the board of a leading private educational institution in Abuja.
Ojo is the author of three books spanning prose, poetry, and business entrepreneurship. He has co-authored a fourth book and is actively working on several additional writing projects. He is well-travelled.
