It was Norman Cousin that said that "The tragedy of life is not that we die , but what dies inside of us while we live"
Dr Taiye Otuokuoje Izegaegbe FWACS , a consultant marxiliofacial surgeon and the Head of Department of Dentistry of the Prestigious Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University , Bauchi , is an extra ordinary being , humble , benevolent ,benigh and very intelligent.
As the English Proverb says, "Morning Shows the Day." It is demonstration of this time honoured aphorism, that Taiye Izegaegbe made all As ,that is excellent in his Senior School Certificate Examination , at the Prestigious Immaculate Conception College,Benin City , where he was one the Leaders of the JETS Club .
As a teenager he started teaching at Standard Lectures in Benin City , where he distinguished himself as one of the best Biology , Chemistry and Physics Teachers in Benin City at that time .
He later gained admission to study Dentistry at the Prestigious University of Benin , where he graduated as one of the best in his class .
He did his NYSC at Akure ,Ondo State , where he also lectured at one of the premier Schools of Nursing in the whole of the South West .Before then , he had done his compulsory housemanship at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital .The rest is history , as he has displayed an appreciable level of dedication , duty of care , charisma ,astuteness and competence in all the places he has worked .
He is a strategic networker , a good family man and a devout Christian .
It was John Fitzgerald Kennedy former President of the United States that said :
Think not if what your country can do for you ,but what you can do for your country
Dr Taiye Izegaegbe is indeed a nationalist and a man who believes in the Nigerian Dream .He has done his bit in building the nation .I hardly write about people , when I do , go and check the person out .
