Dangote workers kidnapped, dozens injured in Edo

The Labour Party Local Government candidate for September 2nd, 2023 has recently called on the Labour Party to drastically reduce the price tag of the Edo 2024 governorship form for aspirants.

In a brief message to the political party which is now admired as a beautiful bride, Hon Dr Mashido Eghaghe said, "Dear Labour Party National Working Committee, I hope this message finds you all in great health.

"As a concerned member of the Labour Party and a stakeholder in Edo State, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue of public concern in Edo State.

"I feel compelled to add my voice to this matter. As a Labour Party candidate for the Chairmanship of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, I share the concerns of many about the exorbitant gubernatorial ticket fee of 30 million Naira.

"This fee goes against our party's social democratic ideas and makes it difficult for the ordinary working-class citizens to participate.

"I urge you to reconsider this price to promote social justice and make the party more accessible to all. Thank you for your attention to this matter", Mashido said.

The Edo State gubernatorial election is scheduled to hold on 21st day of September, 2024 and the registered political parties within the state are jugging up for the race and the Labour Party has been identified as a force.
