As the battle for who replaces Godwin Obaseki in the Edo gubernatorial election draws faster than expected, Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata SAN has recently made a choice which has been described as an option of value.
Describing the Labour Party, LP, deputy governorship candidate, Hon Uyi Omorodion who was the LP Chairmanship candidate for the September 2nd, 2024 Edo Local Government Area election said, "Olumide Akpata's choice of picking Prince Kazeem Kadiri as his running mate, is a welcome development because Price Kadiri is force to reckon with.

"You need to see the rousing joy in the people of Edo North when Prince Kazeem Kadiri was announced as the running mate to Barr Olumide.
"Prince Kazeem Kadiri is a seasoned lawyer, advocate, investor and he is the Yerima of Auchi Sacred Kingdom. With all of his antecedents, every other political party in Edo State is in trouble.
"The Yerima of Auchi Sacred Kingdom is a man with impeccable character, a man with the people at heart and an excellent investor.
"So, both Barr Olumide Akpata and LP have not made any errors on this", he said.
Hon Uyi Omorodion said the manifestos of the LP will be strongly upheld by Barr Olumide Akpata and his deputy, Prince Kazeem Kadiri, the Yerima of Auchi Sacred Kingdom.
